President & Chief Executive Officer
Jake has served in several leadership positions at organizations supporting the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). He is a leader in the field and a champion of making the world more accessible for individuals with I/DD. His experience includes developing community programs that support children, adolescents and adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities (I/DD), as well as, those with co-occurring mental health and behavioral challenges. He earned his Master's degree from Rutgers University. He is also a certified Americans with Disabilities Act Advocate (CADAA); via City University of New York (John Jay College of Criminal Justice). With this certification Jake helps people with invisible disabilities (such as PTSD) navigate the court system (as a non-attorney). As well, Jake is a proud US Military Veteran.

2021 - Present
Incorporated in 1978, A.D.E.P.T. Programs opened its first Supervised Apartment Program in 1982. The Founder Mr. Colon operated the organization as Executive Director from 1978-2005.
In 2005, Mrs. Harris became Executive Director and guided the organization until 2021; when she retired.
In 2021, Jake Jones became President & CEO.
