Ken's 42 year professional career has been devoted to supporting individuals and their families with special needs.  He started as a classroom teacher, worked as the supervisor of a job placement program for public schools and then moved into several administrative positions. After 15 years as Superintendent of programs and services for individuals with Developmental Disabilities he became the State Director for Ohio.  Before retiring he held a similar position in New Jersey. He has been a volunteer with CASA for over 10 years and is also on the boards of The Titusville Academy and Washington Crossing Park Association.   

Ken and his wife Nancy also had a daughter, Erin who had special needs. In her memory they have supported a community awards program for over 30 years in Dayton, Ohio.
